I think the typical way people start these things is: Hello! Welcome to my blog!

Okay now that that's out of the way, let me tell you a bit about myself. My name's Mike, I'm a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University over in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As you've likely guessed, I'm a bit of a gun guy. Some guys have movies, others cars, my thing is guns. I'm a big fan of a bunch of the big gun-centered YouTube pages like Forgotten Weapons, inRange, Hickok45, TFBTV, etc. The bulk of my content will likely center around my own guns, other guns my family and friends have, and just general firearms content that I find interesting.

My taste in guns is pretty balanced between new stuff and historical. I sorta have a thing for "bad guy guns" so I'm a big fan of anything combloc. Now that's not to say I recoil at the sight of an AR-15, I just find them a bit boring compared to the plethora of interesting stuff that came from behind the Iron Curtain, so expect some 7.62x39 content soon!

Now, I will try to keep things from getting too political, but its no secret that guns and gun rights are intertwined with politics. That being said, if there are major political developments in the sphere of firearms, I'll probably comment on them. I'm not an NRA guy, as I think they're too willing to compromise, so I'd encourage people to donate to the Firearms Policy Coalition or the Gun Owners of America.

Introduction:  3D printing opened up opportunities for hobbyists to develop and create whatever they wanted. The technology has evolved and progressed to include things such as carbon-fiber impregnated polymers, metal inserts, and UV resin. 3D printing technology has expanded to the field of firearms.In fact, there is now an entire subculture of the gun community dedicated to the progression and development of 3D printed firearms.
